Event Details

Come join us at our 15th annual Northern Illinois Postal Customer Council Summer Scramble Golf Outing.  This exciting event will be held on Thursday, June 16th, 2011 at the Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates.

 

This event is for everyone.  Golfers of every level are encouraged to come and join in the fun with your peers.  The scramble format is ideal whether your golf game is ready for the PGA or NOT.  This event is designed to provide recreation and key networking opportunities for duffers and pros alike.  There will be contests of skill and luck, raffle prizes, and each golfer will receive a bag filled with an assortment of gifts.

 

We will use a shotgun start with a tee off time of 7:30 am., so please try to arrive by at least 7:15 am.  The registration fee includes cart, 18 holes of golf, coffee and a muffin,  two beverages, and a buffet lunch.  There will be a reception afterward where prizes will be awarded.  A cash bar will be available.

Anyone intersted in participating is encouraged to register as soon as possible, space is limited.  You may register 1 through 4 golfers per registration.

 

We also offer sponsorship opportunities.  If your company would like to sponsor a hole, you can sign up for that on this site as well.  A sign with your company name, will be placed in the tee box of a hole, and you will be recognized at the luncheon.

 

We are also looking for companies to sponsor prizes for longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin for both men and women.  We also need donations for the gift bags and for raffle prizes.  Prize sponsors and gift and raffle prize donors are also recognized on a sign at the luncheon.  If you would like to give a cash donation to use forcontest or raffle prizes, you can do that on this site.  If you would like to donate items for the give bag or raffle, please contact Dan Van Erden at American Marketing, 847-566-4545.

The NIPCC is organized at the local community level to:

Establish regular communication between postal customers and local postal managers.

Provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas and suggestions.

Ensure that postal customers are aware of the latest in postal services and rates.

Create a better understanding of the Postal Service through business meetings, mailer clinics, mailing seminars, tours of postal facilities and visits to other customers' plants.

Provide information so that customers can make the most effective and efficient use of postal services and products.

The Postal Customer Councils help keep customers appraised of changes in service, make suggestions or improvements to their local Postal carriers, and give customers a role in the Postal decision-making process.

Provide an organized way for postal speakers to present postal programs to customers groups.
